Youth Fixtures 2021
As requested at the meeting on Monday 14th December, I have put together fixtures for all Clubs in the u13’s, 14’s 15’s and 16’s in Staffordshire plus Telford. I have tried to ensure that the majority of the fixtures are fairly close to each club so that there is not too much travelling involved.
Please find attached your planned fixtures for the New Year. Please remember there are NO LEAGUES OR CUPS being played for. Our aim is to get players back playing. There will be occasions when a team may not have a full team, but the game should go ahead with both teams playing with matching numbers or sharing players to get them playing.
In the u13’s, u14’s and u 15’s I have divided the teams up into two clusters, North/Central and South/East groups. Each of these clusters are further split into two clusters of four teams. playing home and away, then playing the clubs in the parallel cluster once only; two of these games will be at home and the other two away.
E.g. in the North/Central group of the u13’s there are two small groups of 4 teams’ numbers 1 to 4 and 5 to 8. The first 3 fixtures are against the other clubs in a mini cluster of 4. The next 4 fixtures are against each of the teams in the other mini cluster and then in the final three games you play the return fixture against your clubs in your mini cluster.
You will note that I have spread the games out so that you have some weeks for training and have also not used the 4th April (Easter weekend) or the first May Bank holiday 2nd May.
If you are unable to play a fixture whatever the reason, please ensure you let the opposition know as soon as possible so that if anybody else has a free week or cancellation they could play against them. Also let me know or if you are u15’s Richard Scuffam as well.
The u15 and u16 fixtures have been worked around Leicester Tigers Player Development programme.
If anybody has any questions please contact me immediately, also if anybody spots any errors let me know again immediately.
I have tried to ensure that you have a maximum of two games at home each week but have not been able to do that completely. If you have a pitch problem, then I suggest that you have staggered kick offs to help overcome this issue.
Finally, can I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year with a return to some normality. Thank you for your support in a year that has been difficult for all of us.
