Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke On Trent (SASSOT)

Hi All

I know as NGBs you will have your own responses to your sports clubs and will have circulated the Sport England Emergency fund etc…

I just wanted you to know there is also a Community Foundation for Staffordshire (including Stoke) which is offering support to those needing support through these challenging times. Please can you circulate where you can:

Keep an eye on Club Matters https://www.sportenglandclubmatters.com/    as they are compiling lots of guidance and templates for sports clubs through the current crisis. There are also templates  and guidance such as Emergency Financial Planning, Securing your premises, Understanding financial support available, Making the most of social media  channels and more.

If you have any feedback for Sport England that will help understand the challenges you’re facing, both ongoing and in the future, they really want to hear from you now and to take on board your ideas and concerns to feed into their plans. Sport Structures are still running the UK sport Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport workshops online via virtual classroom sessions.
