Age Grade Player Affiliation
Thank you to Club Age Grade Registrars and Data Officers who have driven the affiliation process and helped parents.
Over 97,000 age grade players have now affiliated across 800 clubs, meaning there are now a huge number of accurate records to ease the process for parents and clubs in future seasons.
We acknowledge there have been challenges with elements of the system and are ensuring greater engagement with the game to improve user experience and how GMS can work for clubs.

Senior Player Affiliation
For senior players, affiliation is on a voluntary basis and separate to registration. Affiliation allows players to create and manage their own online data/account and link this account to the club or clubs they play for.
Senior affiliation is being trialed in four pilot CBs, aimed at testing player and club administrator user journeys, understanding benefits for players, clubs, CBs and the RFU, testing use of electronic match cards at different levels of competition and enhancing direct communication with players.
