GMS season switchover

A reminder that the Game Management System (GMS) will change over to the 2024/2025 season on 1 July.

We know that GMS is busy at the start of each season as users engage with a range of processes to get ready for the new season. Information is provided on some of these below.

Age Grade Registration

In the week commencing 1 July, parents and guardians of age grade rugby players that were registered in 2023/24 will receive an email asking them to register their players for the 2024/25 season on GMS.

Clubs will also receive an email with more details about how they can get ready for the new season, like how to approve registrations on GMS.

More information about Age Grade Registration can be found here.(opens in a new tab)

Course bookings in GMS

Training courses for coaches and referees taking place in 2024/25 will be live for booking on the online course booking system(opens in a new tab) from 1 July.

The training course booklet(opens in a new tab) for the new season is available to download from the England Rugby website, this will give you details about all courses, and help you plot which course is right for you based upon who you are coaching or refereeing.

Building upon the successes of last season. there will be more England Rugby Coaching and Refereeing Award courses taking place on Saturdays and weekdays, as well as Sundays, enabling greater accessibility to training.
