Age Grade Registration 2023/24
Age Grade Registration for 2023/24 opened on 3rd July, with parents/guardians able to renew their child’s annual registration or register them for the first time. We have provided the ability to do this after positive feedback from clubs about getting the off-field administrative processes well underway during the summer, so they can be ready to focus on the on-pitch action when September comes.
The response has been superb. Over 20,000 Age Grade players have already been registered in one week!
To help us say a big thank you to our clubs for the positive way in which they are helping to make this happen, we are offering 10 free tickets to the England v Wales Summer Series match at Twickenham on 12th August for every club that has registered an Age Grade player before 6th August.
This offer will open up to Club Ticket Contacts once an age grade player has been registered to the club, so they can simply apply in the usual way. We will add new clubs to the list of those able to access the offer every 2 or 3 days between now and the 6th. We would like the tickets to benefit your age grade section and provide a great Twickenham match-day memory for young players and their families.
Thanks again to everyone for your support of Age Grade Registration.

Help The Handover
Handing GMS accounts over to U17s and U18s from 2022/23 and U18s from 2020/21 and 2021/22 allows them to take ownership of the way they engage with the game as they move forward into the adult game.
To help encourage these players to register, any U17s and U18s from 2022/23 and U18s from 2020/21 and 2021/22 that take ownership of their GMS player registration before 7 August, will be entered into a draw to win tickets to England v Fiji on 26 August 2023.
Two lucky winners will also win 5 tickets to the West Car Park Fan Village hospitality area for this fixture. Please note that winners of hospitality tickets must be over the age of 18. Full terms and conditions.(opens in a new tab)
Players will become eligible to take part in the prize draws once the record has been handed over to them and the player has verified their email address.

Age Grade Registration options in GMS
Online Age Grade Registration ensures that parents and players are in control of their unique individual record and that their data is secure and up-to-date. The priority is that this will remain an adult-led process, for safeguarding and data protection reasons.
However, some feedback through Age Grade Registration rollout in the last 2 years shows there would be benefit for some groups of players to be able to manage their own record and registration.
Therefore, in the limited circumstances where regular parental engagement is genuinely not possible for a club or parents become less involved for older teenage players, we are making available a new optional feature. This will enable the player, with consent, to take on management of their own record, to register as a player and to purchase courses.
We stress, this is an optional feature for clubs. Please see our guide on how clubs can assist with this process: Improving options for Age Grade Registration in GMS(opens in a new tab)
