Age Grade Affiliation 2022-23

Thank you to all clubs, parents and volunteers who have been busily affiliating their age grade players over the last few months.  More than 140,000 age grade players are already affiliated, compared to 150,000 throughout the entire season in 2021-22.  A great effort from everyone!  We have offered complimentary tickets on a first come, first serve basis to the England v Argentina match as a thank you to clubs who have affiliated their age grade players.

Don’t forget clubs who increase or match the number of affiliated players from last season will be entered into the prize draw in December, with a chance of winning a training session with an England legend or an Umbro kit package voucher.

For clubs with pending affiliations and players still to be affiliated by parents, the Age Grade Affiliation tools on the Help Portal are a helpful one-stop shop to make the task as simple as possible.  We also have our YouTube channel with webinars and videos such as:

For the majority of players, who started their season at the beginning of September, we are now beyond the 45 days window within which to affiliate.  This means clubs without all their age grade players affiliated are at risk of operating outside the Age Grade Regulations.  We are now providing targeted support to these clubs as a priority. Age Grade affiliation is a regulation of the game and must be completed for all players, so please keep pushing it across your club network.
