MITSUBISHI VALUED VOLUNTEER – Jodie Taylor Cannock RUFC

Staffordshire Rugby congratulate Jodie Taylor from Cannock RUFC and recognize her as going above and beyond supporting the club, engaging with members helping them stay happy, healthy and connected. Jodie was rewarded as a Mitsubishi Valued Volunteer in the Resilience in Rugby Section.

Jodie kept the clubs profile raised within the community and massively assisted in its survival with co-coordinating and organising club volunteers to assist in the local food bank, packing and distributing food donations to the local community.

Jodie is also responsible for the clubs social media activity, ensuring that members and parents are always well informed of developments and keeping the rugby club profile high within the community.

The Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer Recognition Programme provides a platform to recognise the volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution to their club and community – no matter what their role.

In the fifth year of the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year Awards and to reflect the challenges of the last 12 months, this year’s event will recognise the outstanding contribution volunteers have made across three categories;

•    Resilience in Rugby – to recognise those who have gone above and beyond to support their club and maintain engagement with members to help them stay happy, healthy and connected.
•    Beyond Rugby – to recognise those who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic to support and unite their local community.
•    Diversity & Inclusion – to recognise those who have championed diversity and inclusion within their club and helped to grow the game.
