Past President of Staffordshire RU, Bill Leason, sadly passed away this week. He will be remembered by many people within the club and county scene in Staffordshire for his ever willingness to volunteer and support rugby wherever it was being played.

As a sign of our respect for Bill and his family, I am asking that all games including a Staffordshire side, this weekend, request the officials to prepare and hold a minute’s silence in Bill’s memory.

RIP Bill Leason, a true rugby man.
