Staffordshire Charity Summer Sevens

We will be hosting a Sevens competition at Trentham RUFC, (ST4 8BE), on Saturday 13/07/2024, in aid of raising money for the three main Hospices that cover our region.

The competition will commence at 10 00 hrs, with the finals of the Bowl, Plate and Cup, taking place between 2 & 3 pm.  The competition is open to all Staffordshire Clubs and Players to apply to play, applications to be made in writing to neill.pow@btinternet.com.  The competition will be seeded to allow teams to have an equal chance of winning a section of the competition.

The cost will be a minimum donation of £1 per player, sides may have a squad of 12 players for the competition, and a squad of 10 per game, with extra squad players acting as water carriers.

A full set of competition rules will be emailed out to sides that successfully apply to enter the competition, along with advertising material to be posted on social media and printed and displayed at your club.

There will be other fund-raising activities on the day details will follow closer to the competition date, once confirmed.

Let’s make this a day to remember and give something back to some charities that have touch and supported many of our rugby playing community.
