Booking a Safeguarding Course

Delegates can book onto the course individually or alternatively a group booking can be made by the club. If a group booking is made, you will need to provide the name, address, date of birth and e-mail address for each delegate. Payment will still have to be made by credit or debit card.
The In Touch course is free for Club Safeguarding Officers and Assistant Club Safeguarding Officers.

Please forward this link http://www.rfu.com/takingpart/olcb and the attached online course booking instructions onto those who you would like to attend the course.

Please Note

All the delegates booking onto both safeguarding courses must do so using this system; paper applications with accompanying cheques will no longer be accepted and will be returned unprocessed. The system accepts both credit cards and debit cards. A receipt will be produced automatically by the system upon payment. Once the delegate has been accepted onto the course, joining instructions will be sent to them automatically by the system. Please ensure that all the delegates book onto the course beforehand.

To avoid the course being cancelled, please note the minimum number of attendees on each course is:

  • 10 delegates on a Play it Safe course, the maximum number being 24.
  • 6 delegates on an In Touch Course, the maximum number being 24.

In order to attend the In Touch course the delegate must have attended either the Play it Safe Course or the Safeguarding & Protecting Young People Course, or equivalent.

On the night, please ensure that:

The Club bar remains closed for the duration of the course
