SAD NEWS

The world of rugby was saddened to hear of the passing yesterday of the legendary Charlie Faulkner, one of the Pontypool front row men, known collectively as Viet Gwent.

Charlie was a very generous man and after finishing playing he moved into coaching and gave his time at a Staffordshire coaching weekend back in the 1980s.
