Home and Away fixtures

We will be utilising the same methodology as last season with respect to maximising the number of teams with home fixtures. This is detailed below:

Where possible, we will look to ensure that teams all receive at least one home fixture. The method for doing so will involve the following, in the 2nd round:

  • If two home winners are scheduled to play each other then the fixture will remain as drawn, with the 1st name team at home
  • If a home winner and an away winner progress into the same fixture, then the away winner will automatically be at home
  • If there are two away winners then the original drawn home team for the fixture, will remain at home
    • If the away team in the 2nd round won this game, they would then be at home in their next fixture
  • Those progressing via bye and walkover will be treated as home teams

As previously noted, any 16-team draws will have a home and away 2-legged quarter final.
