Message from SRU President

We are all saddened at the passing of our Queen yesterday and we fully support the RFU’s game update this morning.

Her patronage of the game along with members of her family show an understanding of what Community Sport is all about and how important it is across society.

The decision to play or not this weekend has been left with the community and we will honour and respect Her Majesty by coming together and playing.

Please ensure that everyone at your club has the opportunity to join the minute’s silence by signalling early when it will take place.
