Following requests from a number of clubs to their Constituent Bodies (CBs)s and Regional Organising Committees (ROCs), there will be a change to the Electronic Match Card (EMC) from today, Tuesday 29 November.
This will mean clubs can only select registered players, except in leagues where non-registered players are eligible to be selected. The process of adding players to a match card will not change. However, if a player is not registered, in a league where players are required to be registered, that player will not appear on the list. This is to protect clubs from unwittingly selecting a non-registered player and facing possible sanctions.
There is no action needed from clubs as the change will happen centrally.
