C B DISCIPLINARY POLICY

To all Staffordshire Clubs, Officials, Coaches, Players, Parents and Spectators.

 Please be aware that from 24/11/2023, due to a recent increase in Match Official Abuse and Disrespect of Match Officials, the CB Disciplinary Committee have taken the decision to send out the following warning to all those involved in the Game in Staffordshire.

IN LINE WITH REGULATION 19.11.13 (b)

WE ARE NOW PUTTING ALL CLUBS ON NOTICE THAT THERE IS A NEED FOR A DETERRENT TO COMBAT THIS TYPE OF OFFENDING IN THE GAME.

 This aggravating factor will now determine that an additional 2 WEEKS will be added to any suspension period for proven cases of, Disrespecting the authority of a Match Official or, Verbal Abuse of a Match Official.

 This need for a deterrent to combat this type of offending will stay in place for the remainder of season 2023-24. It will be reviewed before the start of next season but may well be retained should offending not reduce or this trend be reversed.

I would ask all Clubs to make sure this message goes out to their Members and supporters and impress upon them the need to adhere to the Core Values of the Game.
