GMS
The 2022/2023 season is now live in the Game Management System
Thank you for all your work last season in helping get rugby up and running again including supporting over 150,000 affiliations. As communicated through Community Game Updates and our @RFU Twitter account, today sees the season switch over in the Game Management System (GMS), signifying affiliation in the Age Grade game for the 2022/2023 season is now live.
The switchover has been brought forward as a direct response to clubs’ feedback on wanting more time for administration tasks, reducing the need to do this at the start of the season so the focus can be on getting players on the pitch.
We have put together a pack we hope will help you in your roles at the beginning of the season. The pack contains information on: affiliation, which is regulation in the age grade game, optional adult affiliation, girls’ age banding, enhancements and a reminder on how to log a help request should you need further support. We have also included information about the increased support heading into the 2022/2023 season.
We understand clubs will have different ways of holding information on their players often on different platforms, however, for the RFU (Rugby Football Union) to best support the needs of players and clubs and continue to understand the playing landscape, GMS needs to be as up-to-date and accurate as possible.
