As part of the RFU’s #PlayTogetherStayTogether campaign, every team participating in a men’s merit table/league or women’s national challenge league (including the Allianz Inner Warrior Series) now has the chance to play at Twickenham Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday, 1 May, 2023.
A community rugby takeover day will see four men’s and four women’s teams winning the opportunity to fulfil most players’ dream, playing at the home of rugby.
Teams will be selected via a prize draw, with one men’s and one women’s team invited from the North, Midlands, South West and South East.
Every fixture that takes place between 1st January and 31st March and is recorded in the Game Management System (GMS) will count as one entry to that prize draw for each team. The more games you play, the more chance you have of winning!
The RFU will track each fixture and make contact with the winning teams in early April. The only request is that teams are made aware of the opportunity and encouraged to achieve as many entries as possible.
Remember, games that use the Game On framework will also count as an entry, so we hope that teams will do their best to keep matches on even if they don’t have 15-a-side.
