We are pleased to confirm Regulation 15 for 2023-24 which applies to all Age Grade Rugby. We have worked hard to agree and release this earlier than previous years to give as much time as possible for everyone to familiarise themselves with any changes and prepare during the off-season. Most of the changes are confirmation or clarification of what was already in the regulations. The move to the new Tackle Height is included as well as confirmation of a permanent shift to the Summer Activity Framework from 2023 (please see below). These new out of season regulations started from 2nd May and the full new playing regulations begin for the season on 1st August. Please push the links out across your club, school and college colleagues.
The Age Grade Playing and Regulation Updates 2023-24 document provides an overview of the changes and will continue to be updated with support tools as these are released in the coming months. This is available on the Age Grade Rugby webpage.(opens in a new tab)
The new Regulation 15 – Age Grade Rugby itself is on the Regulations page(opens in a new tab). The reworded Appendices take account of the change in tackle height and will be ready by 1st August. In the meantime, the Tackle Height hub(opens in a new tab) should provide all the information and support you need.
