Summer Activity Plan 2026
Please see Below the Summer Activity Plan for this summer. This provides the maximum activity permitted in the off season months from May to August within the regulations of the age grade game.
There has been a change agreed this year to what can take place in May. This now includes the opportunity for younger players to have more activity. This helps support recruitment and community outreach programmes in the summer, particularly where primary schools are engaged. Non-contact and T1 Rugby activity is now part of the plan for young players in May, which we know will be welcomed by everyone. Please see the updated Plan table above or visit the Summer Activity page that has plenty of support here(opens in a new tab).
We do still stress that May to August is the official “off-season”. It is a time to rest and recharge and try different sports for age grade players and volunteers. However the Summer Activity Plan is a menu for where people choose to take the opportunity to stay connected with rugby through the summer months.
