Promotion & Relegation 25-26 Season
The RFU documents, available via the links below, were agreed to go public via ROCs and their websites at RFU Competitions last week.
You will also find this information on the MROC website (www.rfumidlands.com) under the “News” banner.
The documents will be updated as the season progresses, hopefully after each league game, but you will note they will go out under RFU ownership of competitions-development@rfu.com

The current positions will be shown so that teams can gauge how they stand.
We will be publishing regular updates of this 2-page pdf, one with the National and Regional leagues and the other Counties 1 leagues.
We would like to remind all Clubs of the potential effect of teams being relegated from Regional 2 back into their respective Counties 1 Leagues.
This causes the numbers out of Counties 1 and below to vary and includes a worst-case scenario which should be taken in context with current league standings.
Information was contained in the RFU Pre-Season Briefing Document that ALL clubs were sent at the start of the season. (Please find this document attached.)
The 19 Counties League 1 winners will all be promoted with 5 runners-up from across the country decided on Best Playing Record (BPR).

This season sees the introduction of a new play-off system operating in the Championship, National and Regional Leagues.
A 2-page pdf will be published, one detailing the schedule and the other an illustrative populated version based on current league standings.
We will be publishing regular updates of this document.
